Abstract:
To provide a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in super-long cycle characteristics and large current load characteristics (DC resistance characteristics) required by large-sized batteries, and, specifically, a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in the characteristics, in which an ionic liquid is used as a nonaqueous electrolyte.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes, as a negative electrode active material, a graphite material with an abundance ratio of a rhombohedral crystal of 5% or less, and the nonaqueous electrolyte includes an ionic liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
