Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lithographic printing material having excellent storage property (capable of maintaining the sensitivity of the photosensitive layer in a good state) without forming an oxygen shielding layer by incorporating a compd. which can release one of primary amines or ammonia and a compd. which is polymerizable with at least one of the ammonia and primary amines. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing plate material contains a compd. which can release at least one of primary amines and ammonia and contains a compd. which is polymerizable with at least one of the ammonia and primary amines on a hydrophilic supporting body. As for the compd. which can be release ammonia or primary amines, a tervalent cobalt complex with coordination of ammonia or amines is used. As for the polymerizable compd., an aromatic dialdehydes can be used. The aromatic dialdehyde used is, for example, o- phthalaldehyde and substd. o-phthalaldehyde. The add amt. of the phthalaldehyde deriv. is preferably 0.1 to 10 mol to one mol of the cobalt complex.
