To provide a load drive control circuit capable of hardly causing a malfunction of a load even if a fault occurs in a wiring system in the circuit.
A bridge type motor drive circuit 8 has a system control circuit 9 for collectively controlling the motor drive circuit and a drive control circuit 10 as a motor driver. Upon receiving an operation control command S1 such as a standby command in a mode terminal 16, an abnormality input monitoring section 31 in the drive control circuit 10 confirms whether or not at least one of terminals of an A-terminal 17 to a C-terminal 19 is active, recognizes that a motor control line L2 is in fault if any terminal of them is active, and ignores command signals inputted via terminals of the A-terminal 17 to the C-terminal 19 before an engine starter switch is turned off. Thus, output terminals 21, 22 and 23 of the drive control circuit 10 are continuously kept in signal output states for stopping both the motors M1, M2, and the motors M1, M2 are kept in stopped states.
