Title:
LONGITUDINALLY RUNNING PIPE OUTFITTING METHOD FOR TANKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3049893
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To apply a longitudinally running pipe outfitting method for a tanker to the other tanks in the same vessel or the same kings of other vessels by installing cargo oil pipes on one side board in the vicinity of a hull center line after cargo oil pipe units are carried in the tank bottom part.
CONSTITUTION: Cargo oil pipes 2 are arranged in parallel with each other on longitudinally running pipe support stands 4 so as to be fixed. In succession, a branch pipe 8 having a longitudinally passing partition wall penetrating piece 7 in the central part is connected to the prescribed cargo oil pipes 2 corresponding to a cargo oil tank 1 to which the cargo oil pipes are connected. Bellmouths 10, valves 11 and so on are outfitted on the branch pipe 8 as accessories so as to become symmetrical to each other between the port side P and the starboard side S while sandwiching the hull center line L between them, and the cargo oil pipe units 3 can be manufactured in this way. The respective cargo oil pipe units 3 are carried in the bottom part of the cargo oil tank 1 so as to be installed there, and the cargo oil pipes 2 adjacent in the hull longitudinal direction are placed in the state of connection.
