PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized loop antenna which has a stable operation and is easy to produced, by forming the loop antenna with a wider conductor foil on a dielectric.
CONSTITUTION: Loop conductor 1 is formed with conductor foils 11∼13 mounted on dielectric 10. Since the inside of the loop is full, a high mechanical strength can be held. Radiation power of the loop antenna is proportional to the current flowed into the antenna and the area surrounding the loop. When the width of loop conductor 1 is reduced, the inductance is lowered. It is necessary to increase the value of capacity 2 for the purpose of compensating this lowering, and therefore, the electric field intensity generated at both ends of capacity 2 is lowered, so that fluctuation of the electric characteristic of the loop antenna can be reduced. Consequently, the loop antenna can be incorporated onto a device.
