Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a looper driving device capable of easily adjusting the motion orbit of a looper and easily maintaining high quality stitches by stabilizing the motion orbit.
SOLUTION: In the looper driving device 200 supplying an elliptic motion to the looper 38 by a horizontal driving mechanism 51 and a back and forth driving mechanism 52, the head part of a screw member 32 connecting the back and forth rod 30 of the back and forth driving mechanism 52 and an arm 42 for back and forth motions on a looper bar guide 35 is prevented from being rotated by a projection part 31. Thus, a connecting position is adjusted just by operating a nut 34 screwed to the screw member 32 from a counter looper side and the motion track of the looper 38 is easily adjusted.
