Title:
LOW-INTERFERENCE REDOX DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3706425
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reagent which prevents an interference from a reducing substance and which holds a coloring raw substance to be used or a coloring substance formed from it without being influenced so as to stabilize them by a method wherein a redox detection system reagent which is composed of periodate ions, and of a specific complex compound is used.
SOLUTION: A complexing agent which is suitable for periodate ions is a substance expressed by [Z(Rn)](+) A(-). In this formula, Z represents P, N, As, S or Se, (n) represents 4 when Z is P, N or As and it is 3 when Z is S or Se, R represents a phenyl, a benzyl, an alkyl or a cycloalkyl which may be substituted for 1 to 8C alkyl, and A(-) represents Br(-), I(-) Cl(-) or F(-). Preferably, Z represents P, N, or As, and R represents a phenyl, a benzyl, a cycloalkyl which may be substituted for a 1 to 8 C alkyl and an alkyl.
