LOW MELTING POINT FLUOROPHOSPHATE GLASS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05279076
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a novel glass compsn. which has a thermal and chemical stability comparable to a Pb-Sn-P-F-O series glass and glass transition point of which is ≤100°C.

CONSTITUTION: The batch compsn. consists of 0.5-53% Tl, 0-15% Pb, 5-12% P, 18-55% Sn, 4.5-14.1% F and 8-20% O in wt. and the total amount of the above components is ≥75%. For example, a glass having a compsn. consisting of 6.7% Tl, 4.8% Pb, 9.9% P, 52.9% Sn, 9.1% F and 16.6% O has 80°C glass transition point, and crystallization does not occur even at ≥300°C.
