Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide low melting point glass formed body free from chipping in heat treatment process in homogeneous or heterogeneous adhesion of glass or metal.
CONSTITUTION: This low melting point glass molded and processed article is molded and processed into a specific shape and contains PbO as a main component and the surface layer of at least end parts 2 of the molded and processed article is removed by etching treatment with a mineral acid.
