PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of a titled casting device, by combining a single holding chamber for molten metal and plural casting mold chambers, and completing the preparatory operation for the next casting mold chamber before the charging to one casting mold chamber is completed.

CONSTITUTION: A swiveling type carrying-in device 6 for charging moves to a station 1 in order to receive the casting mold chamber which is completed of a preparatory operation. A movable molding board 2 to be placed thereon with the casting mold and a chamber 4 is carried into the spacing between the arms 7 and 7' of the device 6; at the same time, the arms 7, 7' hook and lift the handles 3a, 3a' fixed to the board 2 and place the board on a stationary molding board 9 over the holding chamber for molten metal. A clamping device 11 for the casting mold with its stanchion 12 held vertically moves to right above the casting mold chamber and clamps the casting mold. The preparatory operation for charging is thus completed and the charging of molten metal is executed. The board 2 is returned to the home position of the station 1 upon completion of the charging. The device 6 releases the board 2 there and moves to a station 1' and the movable molding board 2' placed with the casting mold chamber which is completed of the preparatory operation during this time is lifted and the operation similar to be above-mentioned operation is accomplished.
