Abstract:
To provide a lung function diagnostic device using ultrasonic waves and a lung function diagnostic method using the same, which can be easily used at a low cost without the need of attention or cooperation of a patient.
An ultrasonic flowmeter 10 measures the lung function state of a patient using measurement of the gas flow and the molar mass by the ultrasonic waves. Signals of the gas flow and the molar mass are recorded during normal respiration. Recorded data obtained by combining body measurement data and/or questioned data are statistically analyzed for diagnosis.
