Abstract:
A system and method for writing data to an array of display elements (12a, 12b) includes means (26) for driving a column of the display elements (12a, 12b) and means (24) for driving a row of the display elements (12a, 12b). The row and column driving means (24, 26) are configured to actuate at least some display elements (12a, 12b) of the array with first and second potential differences. The absolute value of the second potential difference is greater than the absolute value of the first potential difference.
