Provided is a machine tool apparatus with which it is possible, when generating a control program relating to the action of an arm (21) for conveying a workpiece between multiple work machine modules (4A-4I), to make the work related to generating the control program more efficient than in the past. Specifically, the machine tool apparatus is configured so as to generate the control program relating to the action of the arm (21) from template data on the basis of the placement of the work machine module (4A-4I) with respect to a base (3).
