Title:
MACHINING DEVICE, BENDING DETECTION METHOD FOR ROTARY TOOL MOUNTED ON MACHINING DEVICE, AND DETECTION CIRCUIT CHECK METHOD FOR MACHINING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3948301
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device and a detection method capable of easily and directly detecting bending of a tool shaft of a rotary tool and to provide a detection circuit check method enabling a worker to check whether the detection is normally performed or not.
SOLUTION: Direct current power supply 28 is connected with a circuit constituted by the tool shaft 100b having electric conductivity, a peripheral member 22 provided across a predetermined clearance from a shaft side face of the tool shaft 100b, and an electrical conductive tool drive part including a spindle case 16, a bearing 18, a spindle 12, a collet 14, etc. When the tool shaft 100b is bent beyond an allowance value and comes into contact with the peripheral member 22, the circuit is closed, a direct current flows in the circuit, and an ammeter 34 reacts the recognize the existence of bending beyond a predetermined amount. Moreover, when alternate current power supply 30 is connected with the circuit by operating a change-over switch 32, a current is carried through a clearance between the tool shaft 100b and the peripheral member 22 to check the presence or absence of lack of the circuit.
