Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate various fault in clamping a large diameter part with a collet chuck when machining the outer circumferential surface of a small diameter part projected from a side end face of a large diameter part taking the large diameter part for a reference gauge.
SOLUTION: This machining device machining the outer circumferential surface of a small diameter part 16 of a shaft member concentrically with a large diameter part 14 has receiving rollers 22R abutting on and supporting the outer circumferential surface of the large diameter part 14 where two sets of the rollers are disposed apart from each other where one pair of the rollers forms one set, two pressure rollers 59R disposed opposite to the receiving rollers 22R and capable of clamping the large diameter part 14 with receiving rollers 22R, a roller moving means reciprocating the pressure rollers 59R along the direction opposite to the receiving rollers 22R, a roller rotating and driving means rotating and driving the pressure rollers 59R, a tool holder 18R equipped with a tool, a machining depth adjustment means for adjusting the machining depth of the tool 17 to the outer circumferential surface of the small diameter part 16, and a feeding drive means to feed the tool 17 attached to the tool holder 18R along a rotational axis of the large diameter part 14.
