Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method to round a ridge at a desired position of a machined article favourably in efficiency by improving face roughness.
SOLUTION: Head ends of cutting blades are projected on a plural number of cutting blade installation grooves 3a radially positioned on an outer edge periphery of a cutting blade installation disc 3 fastened on a machining rotation axis 2 horizontally projected in a container 1 in which granular abrasive materials 9 are contained and cut out outward, and they are fastened so as to be positioned on the same circumference. Positional relation of the container and the machining rotation axis is regulated so that rounded parts of the cutting blades intrude in the abrasive materials 9. As the head ends of the cutting blades intrude in such a way as to push the abrasive materials away and pass through the abrasive materials by rotation of the machining rotation axis, a ridge is rounded.
