Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the positioning accuracy of a head supporting device and to improve a recording density by constituting the device in such a manner that the boss part provided in either of the arm or boss part of the supporting device can be freely attachably and detachably fitted into the inside edge of the other aperture. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic disk driving device is stopped from rotating by contact of the flank of the three-dimensional part of the boss part with the reference plane 14a on the inside edge of the aperture 14 of the arm part 15, by which the lateral shifting and rotating of the boss part 1 within the aperture 14 are averted. The boss part 1 and the aperture 14 are vertically fixed by a slip fitting mechanism of the fitting body 1b projectingly provided in the boss part and the tapered surface 16 formed in the edge part on the peripheral surface of the aperture. The rigidity to the force in the radial direction and circumferential direction given to the arm part 15 is provided and the waving of eccentricity is eliminated. The range of the magnetic recording surface of a disk medium is no longer narrowed and the degradation in the magnetic recording efficiency is obviated.
