To provide a magnetic recording method and its device for recording as variable magnetic information by synchronizing with an information recording medium, which is provided with fixed magnetic information consisting of minute recessed and projecting parts, the same magnetic information as the fixed.

Fixed magnetic information, consisting of plural minute recessed and projecting parts arranged along the scanning direction of a magnetic head, which is an information recording part 3 of an information recording medium 1, is read by the magnetic head; and then, by other magnetic head that scans integrally with this magnetic head, the same magnetic information as the fixed is once recorded on a hard magnetic layer in an area other than the information recording part 3 so as to form a temporary track. Then, the magnetic information on the temporary track is read by the magnetic head; using other magnetic head that scans integrally with this magnetic head, the same variable magnetic information as the fixed is synchronized and recorded on the hard magnetic layer of the information recording part 3.
