Abstract:
PURPOSE:To insert an illustration character by reproducing a recorded tape, detecting the insertion period of the illustration character on the screen and overwriting the signal of the illustration character onto the recorded tape in the insertion period. CONSTITUTION:At first, a white board 10 is photographed and character illustration information such as 'A' is subjected to one bit processing by one-bit processing circuit 16 and stored in a memory 18 and the recorded tape desired to insert the illustration character is reproduced. Then the inserted period of the illustration character signal on the screen is detected and the illustration character signal is overwritten onto the recorded tape during the insertion period. Thus, the illustration character signal is inserted onto the recorded video tape.
