Abstract:
PURPOSE:To record a first new signal after erasing even when the first signal is recorded by the level of the standard or above by adding and recording the second signal of the frequency larger than the maximum frequency to be able to be recorded with the first signal. CONSTITUTION:When a timing signal corresponding to the section of a pilot signal f1 is generated 1 and a clock is generated 2, a gate 4 outputs the section clock of a timing signal. The clock is adjusted 5 to a prescribed level, and thereafter, it is supplied to an adder circuit 7 and a generated 3 recording signal is added. The recording signal is amplified 8 and sent to a rotary head. When the recording signal is a signal f1, a clock is outputted from the gate 4, a pilot signal and the clock are added 7, a signal to overlap the clock to the signal f1 is obtained and outputted to a head 9. At this time, a transistor 12 is turned on by the timing signal, and the recording level of the signal f1 is made smaller than the recording level of other signal.
