Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of signal processing, such as for phase correction and curve fitting, in a magnetic resonance diagnostic apparatus corresponding to multi-voxel MRS.
SOLUTION: In the magnetic resonance diagnostic apparatus, a specific nuclide in a locally excited region of a subject in a static magnetic field is excited by a high-frequency magnetic field and is saturated so that no signal is emitted from a predetermined saturation range; magnetic resonance signals produced from the specific nuclide in the locally excited region are colleted and processed with multi-voxels, whereby the frequency spectrum of each voxel is obtained for the specific nuclide. The apparatus has the function of performing signal processing for only some of the voxels in the multi-voxels.
