To obtain images easily understandably indicating various structures of a flow portion with a high contrast between the flow portion such as a blood vessel and a background portion.
A sequencer 10 controls required respective portions and detects a magnetization vector excited to have a lower amplitude in the blood vessel than in a static portion for each of many pixel positions. A computation unit 11 determines the pixel value of each pixel position as a value proportional to the absolute value of the amplitude of the magnetization vector detected relating to each pixel position. The computation unit 11 determines which of the blood vessel and the static portion each pixel position corresponds to on the basis of the phase of the magnetization vector detected relating to each pixel position. The computation unit 11 corrects the pixel value determined for the pixel position determined to correspond to the blood vessel among the respective pixel positions so as to increase a difference from the pixel value determined for the pixel position determined to correspond to the static portion.
