Title:
MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06254068
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance attachability by enabling the division of a roughly cylindrical receiving coil detecting a magnetic resonance signal generated from patient, and providing a guide member which can secure dimensions required for positioning at the time of attaching it to the divided receiving coil.

CONSTITUTION: The receiving coil is constituted of a divided structure divided into the upper and the lower parts, and the upper part coil 1 is attached to the lower part coil 2 by an opening/closing lock mechanism 3. In the upper part coil 1, plural pieces of guide pins 4(4a...) being guide members are provided, and in the lower part coil 2, a guide hole is provided in the position corresponding to these guide pins 4. In each coil 1, 2, a lead wire consisting of copper, etc., is incorporated, and the receiving coil is constituted by attaching the upper part coil 1 to the lower part coil 2. Also, in such a divided structure, the upper and the lower lead wires are connected to each other by utilizing a connector since the lead wire of the coil is cut.
