Title:
MAGNETIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008304470
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a magnetic sensor which can be miniaturized to achieve enhancement in property of production and assembly.

In this sensor, magneto-sensing sections 3a, 3b for detecting external magnetic field are wedged between ferrite chips 4a/4b and ferrite substrates 2a/2b, respectively. These magneto-sensing sections 3a, 3b are arranged on magnetic substrate 1 at a regular distance from each other through the ferrite substrates 2a/2b. For example, hall element can be used as these magneto-sensing sections 3a, 3b. By obtaining sum and difference of outputs from the magneto-sensing sections 3a, 3b, magnetic flux density of perpendicular and horizontal directions to the magneto-sensing surface can be calculated.
