Title:
MAGNETIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01155282
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a diamagnetic field coefficient, to generate a more magnetic flux and to generate a larger output voltage in a detection coil, by giving a flat sectional shape to a magnetic core material. CONSTITUTION:The present magnetic sensor is constructed of a magnetic core material 1, a resin tube 3 accommodating the magnetic core material 1 and a detection coil 2 wound on the central part in the axial direction of the resin tube 3. The magnetic core material 1 is constituted by several tens or more amorphous wires fitted parallel in the axial direction in the resin tube 3. In this case, the magnetic sensor 10 employed as a rotary sensor is disposed in the periphery of a rotary body 4, while a magnet 5 is buried in the rotary body 4, and an induced voltage is generated in the detection coil 2 of the magnetic sensor 10 by the rotation of the magnet 5. The present sensor 10 can generate a larger output voltage than conventional magnetic sensors, on the assumption that the number of turns of the detection coil is identical and that the amount of the magnetic core material is identical.
