PURPOSE: To mechanically realize the rapid winding function with the minimum number of components by driving a driving wheel of a center changeover lever to the instructed direction and driving a related reel disk by a driving wheel and an intermediate wheel through rapid forward or a rapid backward wheel.

CONSTITUTION: The intermediate wheel 45 is supported by a spindle 44 of a 1st changeover lever 43 which is driven in the opposite directions by the driving wheel 46 arranged on an arm 43c. The 1st rapid forward take-up wheel 64 is driven by the intermediate wheel 45, and the relatively turnable rapid backward take-up wheel 65 is driven by the rapid forward take-up wheel 64, and the rapid taking up motion is controlled by push-button rods 37, 39. Thus, the changeover to the rapid forward or backward take-up is realized by the small number of mechanical components.
