In this magnetism-assisted processing method, the magnetic tool is disposed in a variable magnetic field, motion is given to the magnetic tool by the variation of the magnetic field to bring the magnetic tool into a collision with a workpiece. A magnetic tool to be used has at least magnetic anisotropy, and the shape of the magnetic pole end is curved by machining or resin or metal coating. The magnetic tool has the shape anisotropy, and an abrasive may be contained in resin or metal.
