PURPOSE: To provide a miniaturized magnetism leakage transformer which allows easy manufacture at low cost by permitting the width of the center leg of a core part in the longitudinal direction to be narrower than the width of the side legs.
CONSTITUTION: A core 12 is formed of a pair of core parts 34 provided with side legs 31 which are protruding in the same direction at the both edges, a center leg 32 which permits the side legs 31 to protrude in the same direction and a middle leg 33 which protrudes between the center leg 32 and the side leg 31 in the same direction. The legs 31, 32 and 33 are formed of material such as ferrite. The width W1 of the center leg 32 and the middle leg 33 is permitted to be narrower than the width W of the side leg 31 and thicknesses of the center leg 32, side leg 31 and the middle leg 33 are permitted to be thinner in such order. The center leg 32 and the middle leg 33 are permitted to face through a prescribed distance G1 and the core parts 34 are permitted to make contact. Thus the space formed between the middle legs is narrowed without deteriorating the performance, the smaller core diameter is allowed and the magnetism leakage transformer is miniaturized.
