Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform forced switching at a time-sharing switch, and the exchange of the device of user system and spare system of the time-sharing switch, without instantaneous interruption.
SOLUTION: Input transmission data, from interfaces 31-36, is outputted to 3-stage buffers 43 and 52 after the data is switched (switching of time slot lines) by line-setting parts 41 and 51 of TSW-0 system 40 and TSW-1 system 50 (use system and spare system). Time slots TS1-TS9,..., TSn and an unused region at counters 43 and 53 are judged. Based on the judgment, the operation of the three-state buffer 42 is stopped at the non-used region of the time slot by the control of the switching control units 4 and 54, and the three-state buffer 52 is made to operate. With the operation, the operation of the TSW-0 system 40 is stopped, the TSW-1 system 50 is made to operate, and input transmission data is switched from the TSW-0 system 40 to the TSW-1 system 50 (from the usage system to the spare system) without instantaneous interruption.
