The maintenance management method includes the steps of: registering an apparatus to be periodically inspected when current location information a of a target apparatus is the same as a location at the time of contract, or when they are different from each other but the current location is the same as a corrected location; determining whether a maintenance person specified on the basis of received maintenance person information has maintenance qualification of a device to be maintained with reference to a qualification DB and whether the current position coincides with the location of the device to be maintained; and registering a maintenance work start time, maintenance work end time and maintenance work information of the device to be maintained in a third table when receiving the maintenance work start time, maintenance work end time and maintenance work information from a portable terminal when determined that they are coincident.
