Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain electrophotographs of good resolution by performing halftone image display on a transparent film, irradiating powerful light on the halftone image display on the transparent film, and forming the transmitted light image through printing on a nonsilver salt low photosensitive material thereby making an ID card.

CONSTITUTION: A man 2 is photographed with a TV camera 1 as necessary image information, and is converted into a halftone image signal by a halftone circuit 3, after which it is displayed in a CRT5 via a CRT control circuit 4. This is so arranged that information such as name, number or the like can be inputted from a keyboard 6 and displayed. In this way, the image displayed on the image plane of the CRT5 is is reduced or enlarged (or unmagnified) via a lens 7 and this image is projected to a photosensing plate 11 provided in front of a transparent film 10 for intermediate recording, whereby it is made into an electrophotograph.
