Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male luer connector with a valve, enabling the connector to be connected to a medical line easily and safely.SOLUTION: A male luer connector with a valve includes an elastic hollow element 12 enclosing a cylindrical member 6 having an inlet part 7 and an outlet part 8. A collar 19 can be moved in the axial direction, and generates expansion/contraction deformation of the elastic hollow element 12, to thereby open a fluid passage between the inlet part 7 and the outlet part 8 of the cylindrical member. The inlet part 7 can be rotated in both rotation directions with respect to a casing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
