Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide male terminal metal fittings in which deformation at a boundary portion of a tab and a body can hardly be caused.
SOLUTION: A rib 15 for reinforcement is formed in a bottom part connection wall 16 of the tab 11 of the male terminal metal 10 and the body 12. The end on the backside of the rib 15 is extended to backside a little across the front-end position of the body 12. The end of the front side is extended to a range to a little forward from the back end position of the tab 11. Further, it is formed so that its cross-sectional form cut in a direction, which intersects perpendicularly an axis line direction, may have a form curved in a shape of U character. For this reason, reinforcement of the above boundary portion can be attained, and even when stress concentrates on the boundary portion of the tab 11 and the body 12, a situation of resulting in deformation can be eased.
