A management information automatic collecting means 20 started by the automatic execution means 203 of a management server 20 automatically collects management information from the computer to be managed 10, and outputs a management information file including the result of automatic collection. An electronic mail automatic transfer means 202 automatically transfers the outputted management information file to an electronic mail server 30 through a network 50. The electronic mail server 30 stores the automatically transferred management information file in the inner part. The electronic mail processing means 401 of a computer 40 for a manager reads out the management information file. A remote execution means 402 started by the manager remotely starts the failure automatic restoring means 204 of the management server 20, and the failure automatic restoring means 204 automatically restores a failure.
