Abstract:

To provide a manipulator for an operation in a body cavity hardly damaging an organism without using a touch sensor.

In this manipulator, a first bending part 83 and a second bending part 84 which can be bent and deformed, are disposed at the tip part of an elongated insert part 82 inserted in the body. A towing mechanism 89 for towing angle wires 87, 88 for bending the second bending part 84 is disposed at the base end part of the insert part 82, and a compliance setting part 91 is provided in the midway of the angle wires 87, 88 for adjusting the tension of the angle wires 87, 88 in towing the wire to control the compliance of the bending part 84.
