PURPOSE: To improve the surface external appearance of the title welded can and to improve its productivity by bending cylindrically an Al sheet which is subjected to coining pattern working in advance to superpose the tip parts and joining the superposed parts together by the ultrasonic seam welding.
CONSTITUTION: The coining pattern working Al sheet 1 on the surface of which an irregular uneven pattern 4 is formed in advance is rounded cylindrically and both edges thereof are superposed. The superposed parts 7 are subjected to the seam welding by using an ultrasonic seam welding machine. By this method, the airtightness is improved and a surface external appearance characteristic can be improved and moreover, a fine product can be obtained without increasing the manufacturing cost.
