PURPOSE: To obtain a sintered body having high volume percentage of amorphous component and uniform strength over the whole body by executing hot plastic work to a green compact composed of the amorphous alloy powder to make the sintered body and cooling under uniformly pressurized condition.

CONSTITUTION: The green compact composed of the amorphous alloy powder is charged into a metal-made vessel, etc., having large thermal expansion coefficient, and the hot plastic work is executed. The sintered body coated with pressed layer having almost uniform thickness formed with the vessel is cooled as it is. By this method, crystallization of the sintered body is restrained and the amorphous alloy-made sintered body having uniform strength is obtd.
