Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a transmission or conveyor belt in rubber or a rubber-like material containing a single- or multi-ply reinforcing textile layer which has warp and weft threads made of plastic, for example polyester, polyamide and/or aramid or mixtures thereof, and is notable for the fact that the textile fabric is woven using threads, in particular weft threads, which are already completely or partially enclosed by a layer of rubber or rubber-like material.
