Abstract:
PURPOSE:To process a moire lattice with respect to a cylindrical curved surface having a uniform cross-section, by loosely fitting an annular strip plate, which has a shape similar to that of the outer periphery of a columnar body and a large number of regularly arranged through-holes, to the columnar body. CONSTITUTION:A closed curve-shaped strip plate 12 having the same cross-sectional shape as a columnar body 11 is arranged to the outside of the columnar body 11 having a uniform cross-sectional shape so as to provide a minute gap therefrom. A large number of circular holes are regularly opened to said strip plate 12. When laser beam 14 is allowed to irradiate the strip plate 12 of the columnar body from the outside, only the laser beam passed through a large number of the regularly arranged circular holes 13 to reach the surface of the columnar body 1. Therefore, circular hole-shaped regularly arranged grooves are processed to the surface of the columnar body 11 to make it possible to produce a moire lattice. When the moire lattice is formed to the whole surface of the columnar body 11, the strip plate 12 is shifted in the up-and-down direction and the irradiation of the laser beam 14 may be repeated.
