PURPOSE: To obtain a lining layer by arranging a cylindrical gap in a cylinder body setting inner part regulating member, packing a lining material having m.p. lower than the cylinder body into the cylindrical gap, shifting a heating means in the axial direction of the cylinder body and melting and solidifying the lining material.
CONSTITUTION: On the inner peripheral face side of the steel-made cylinder body 1, the cylindrical gap 4 as almost concentric, is arranged to set the inner part regulating member 5, and this cylindrical gap 4 is sealed with an upper cover 6 and a lower cover 7 arranged in the cylinder body. While parallelly heating by two heating means 9 at the same time, the heating means, 9 are shifted upward. In order to prevent crack of the lining layer 10, after completing all processes of the heating, melting and solidifying over the whole length, this is charged into an electric furnace, etc., and slowly cooled. After cooling, by removing the inner part regulating member 5 by machining, the cylinder with lining having a high wear resistant lining layer 10 can be obtd.
