Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit an extended sleeve into a prepared hole without any gap and to fix so as not to generate the deviation in a member to be fixed by forming the diameter of the tube end part interposed between the head part of a tubular member and the end of a slot forming part so as to be large at least by the size expanding the diameter by forming the slot.
SOLUTION: First, the tubular member 3 having the head part 21 in the end and having a female screw 23 in the chip end part is manufactured. In the tubular member 2, the tube end part 22 in the end side adjacent to the slot forming part of the tubular part in the chip end part near the head part 21 is formed so as to be large by the size expanding at the time of forming the slot. Next, when slot foaming tools are simultaneously pressed and cut into from plural places in the side surface of the part being the expending part e.g. four places at equal interval in the peripheral direction to form the slot 24, each expanding part piece 25 is pushed out in the outside direction and the diameter of the expanding part 26 become large. However, since the tube end part 22 is previously formed into a large diameter by the size equivalent to it, the diameters of the tube end part 22 and the expanded part 26 in the completed expanded sleeve 20 become equal.
