Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily form a homogeneous slurry film with a given thickness by applying a slurry the surface tension of which is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: A slurry film is formed by applying a slurry. The surface tension of the solution of this slurry excluding the phosphor is adjusted to be 40W50dyn/ cm at a temperature of 21°C by controlling the amount of a surface active agent added. By the means mentioned above, a homogeneous slurry film with a given thickness can be easily formed. Furthermore, it is possible to easily produce a fluorescent screen with good white balance by reliably forming a homogeneous slurry film by adjusting the viscosity of the aqueous solution to 5W35cps (at 21°C).
