Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metallic hollow product which can simplify the manufacturing process without using a precise die.
SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a hollow product having a cavity in the inner part, a filling process S1, cooling process S2 and forging process S3 are included. The filling process S1 is a process for filling water in the inner part of an aluminum-made bottomed cylindrical pipe stock 10. The cooling process S2 is a process for cooling the pipe stock and providing ice 11 in the inner part. The forging process S3 is a process for die-forming the pipe stock 10 providing the ice 11 to a desired shape by using dies 12, 13 to obtain the hollow product.
