Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain efficiently hyperfine particles of a high purity metal or a metallic compound by depositing metallic ions in the micropores in an anodic oxide film in the form of the metal, and dissolving the oxide film.

CONSTITUTION: A porous anodic oxide film is formed on the surface of Al or an Al alloy. Using the Al metal having the formed oxide film as an electrode, electrolysis is carried out in an electrolytic soln. contg. metallic ions such as Ni ions to deposit Ni in the pores in the oxide film. Part of the oxide film is then dissolved. Thus, hyperfine particles of a high purity metal or a metallic compound (metallic oxide) are efficiently obtd.
