Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process by including a process which molds a lens array and injected resin in one body. CONSTITUTION:A positioning guide groove 4 is provided on a bottom mold and cylindrical lenses 1 are arrayed in this positioning groove 4. Then a top mold and the bottom mold are closed by a molding machine and a resin material which is plasticized at high temperature by a molding machine screw is injected through a gate 8. Thus, the cylindrical lenses 1 are arrayed in the mold 2 and molded integrally with the injected resin 3 to reduce the number of components and the component cost, and the need for an adhering process for a plate member, a spacer, etc., a vacuum impregnating process for adhesive resin, etc., is eliminated to simplify the manufacturing process.
