Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a uniform composite material in which weight unbalance, etc., do not occur since the passage of a molten metal is not formed by shifting silica baloons with molten metal pressure at the time of pressurizing the molten metal because of close packing of the silica baloons.
CONSTITUTION: While giving vibration to a mold 1 supplying the silica baloon 3 into cavity 11 with an excitor 6, the silica baloons are pressurized and tightly packed into the cavity. Then, molten light alloy is pressurized into the cavity, and after uniformly penetrating and dispersing the molten metal between the silica baloons, this is cooled to manufacture the light and low expansion composite material.
