Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent magnetic characteristic from deteriorating in the manufacture of a magnetic molded unit using rare earth intermetallic compound by employing a phosphorus compound having active protons as oxidation preventive reagent.
CONSTITUTION: After rare earth metal, iron-group metal and hardener are mixed, the mixture is molded by a compression molding machine. Then, the obtained molded unit is dipped in aqueous solution of phosphorus compound having active proton such as phosphoric acid, acidic phosphoric acid ester, dialkyldithiophosphoric acid. Thus, a magnet having small demagnetization rate near the heat resistant temperature of organic resin, i.e., no deterioration in the magnetic property can be formed.
