Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture high quality medal, coin, etc., equipped with uniform pattern by perfectly removing dint, flaw, etc., produced when a bamd material is subjected to ductile rolling before the medal, etc., is completed, nullifying dispersion in the hardness of discs as work to be processed, and eliminating generation of uneven pressing for marking.
CONSTITUTION: A band material is punched off by a press into a disc, and the periphery of this disc is subjected to a shaping process followed by annealing and barrel polishing, and then pressing is made for marking. In this method of manufacturing coins, etc., the barrel polishing is conducted for more than 30min.
