To provide a method for manufacturing a molding made of thermoplastic resin for molding the molding having excellent characteristics and no external appearance fault by improving surface transferability of the molding.

The method for manufacturing a molding comprises the steps of introducing melted thermoplastic resin into a cavity 13 provided in a mold by using amorphous thermoplastic resin, thereby manufacturing the molding made of the thermoplastic resin in such a manner that, when glass transition temperature of the amorphous resin is Tg(°C), a temperature ('C) of part of a surface for constituting the cavity 13 in the state that the mold is clamped is controlled to (A) Tg-100≤T≤Tg+100 before the melted plastic resin is introduced into the cavity 13, (B) Tg≤T≤Tg+180 immediately after the resin is introduced into the cavity 13, and (C) T≤Tg-10 before the molding is removed from the mold.
