PURPOSE: To manufacture a nodal part having a stab to separate a brace weld part from a leg surface by making the radius of curvature of a bent-formed member coincident with that of a leg and extruding a formed and drilled part on the center line of a projection into a final shape of the stab.

CONSTITUTION: A bent part 8a of a U-shaped plate 8 is heated at a high temperature, then, charged in a die 14 having an appropriate cavity 14' and the bent part 8a is deformed to form a projection 11'. In a next process, an end part 15 of the projection 11' is drilled at the center line position. Thereafter, the bent part is again heated at a high temperature and then, placed in an extrusion die 16. Where, the bent part is held at a regular position in a die 18 having an appropriate conical cavity 18' using a member 17. Then, the end part 15 of the projection 11' is formed by a conical punch 19 to form a stab 11. Therefore, a foundry of high accuracy can be rapidly obtained at a low cost by combining the bending, the welding and the forging.
